17th Sep 2024
Hubtrac reached a historic milestone in September 2024 as its European manufacturing base officially began mass production. This marks Hubtrac's emergence as the latest European tyre brand and the start of a new chapter in its global expansion. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, along with government officials, industry experts, university scholars, and media representatives, attended this grand event.
Since its launch in 2019, the Hubtrac European manufacturing base has garnered global attention, with an investment of $990 million and an annual production capacity of 13.62 million high-performance radial tyres. As Hubtrac's second manufacturing base, it embodies the brand’s ambitious global strategy, transitioning from tyre exports to European R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service.
During its construction, the European factory integrated advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, mobile sensing, industrial big data, and robotics. The facility is designed to be a benchmark in safe, environmentally friendly, intelligent, automated, and green tyre production, positioning itself as one of the leading digital factories in the global tyre industry. The factory has achieved full automation and digital management, from raw material warehousing to the delivery of finished products, significantly enhancing product quality and production efficiency. Hubtrac is setting new industry standards in environmental sustainability, efficiency, and intelligence.
With the commencement of mass production at its European plant, Hubtrac has taken a significant step forward in its European market strategy. The factory will supply European and neighbouring markets with high-performance products that offer a superior driving experience, characterized by green technology, low carbon emissions, low rolling resistance, and strong handling capabilities.
The mass production at the European factory marks a new era for the Hubtrac brand as it aims to establish Europe as its home market.
