Your Current Position:  The Hubtrac Q&A
  • The Relationship Between Hubtrac Tires and Linglong Tire Group

Linglong Tire Group is China's largest tire manufacturing producer, with seven factories globally and four brands, including LingLong, Leao, Crosswind, and Hubtrac. Among them, Hubtrac is Linglong's premium brand and is also the only brand designed and produced for the European  and American markets. It is the sole brand manufactured outside of China and the only one not sold in the Chinese domestic market. Hubtrac is also the only brand within the Linglong group   that has its own sales team. LingLong, Leao, and Crosswind are operated by Linglong's sales team, while Hubtrac is independently operated by the Hubtrac & Alliance Co., Ltd., registered in Hong Kong. Although the Linglong Group owns 100% of the Hubtrac brand, the brand's positioning, market development, and future expansion paths are distinct from Linglong's other brands. In summary, Hubtrac is a world-class tyre brand made in Europe.

  • What is the Hubtrac Tires Product Line?

Hubtrac's product line includes Hubtrac Classic and Hubtrac New Era (it also called New Generation), where the Classic product line and the New Era products for the European market have been fully transferred to the Serbian factory, while the New Era line for the American market remains in the Thai factory.

  • What is the difference Between Hubtrac Classic Tires and Other Tire Brands Produced by Linglong Serbia?

There are no significant differences between Hubtrac Classic products and Linglong, Leao, and Crosswind in terms of tread design and product quality, but Linglong, Leao, and Crosswind’s warranties are only five years, while Hubtrac Classic products have a six-year warranty.

  • What is the difference Between Hubtrac New Era Tires (Hubtrac 2.0) and Other Tire Brands Produced by Linglong Serbia?

Hubtrac New Era tire products are entirely different from Linglong, Leao, and Crosswind products, both in tread design and manufacturing process, all built entirely on German industrial foundations.

  • Are the Prices of Hubtrac Classic Products the Same as Those of Linglong, Leao, Croswind Brands?

The prices of tires produced by Linglong Serbia's factory will fluctuate over time, and each brand's prices will vary based on specific circumstances. Notably, Hubtrac's pricing strategy is not the same as other brands. Hubtrac tends to offer market rebates based on the specific quantity of purchases by buyers. This is based on Hubtrac's cooperation principles with its target market channels. Hubtrac will provide local distributors with more robust market promotion support and brand-building collaboration.

  • What is Hubtrac's Brand Positioning?

Hubtrac operates more independently as a European brand, especially after the launch of the Hubtrac New Era products, further distinguishing us from other tire products at Linglong's Serbian factory. Tires completely designed by Germany, produced by German equipment, with brand and marketing departments located in London, the European region is considered Hubtrac's Homeland Market.

Our sales team is composed of locals from the target market, operating to European factory standards. Over time, Hubtrac's sales model will differ from any Chinese tire brand. This is quite normal, as Hubtrac is a genuinely European brand.

Despite the Hubtrac New Era product line having almost the most exquisite manufacturing craftsmanship and stunning product quality, the Hubtrac New Era line still positions itself as a "Priming Economic" brand. In other words, Hubtrac will be one of the most cost-effective.

European-made tire products on the current market.

  • What's the difference between all-season and winter tires?

The key to good traction is friction, but this can be elusive depending on the weather. Winter tires are designed to stay soft and pliable at low temperatures, so they will deform and re-conform to all the micro irregularities of the icy surface, resulting in grip. All-season tires are designed to help provide traction in wet and snowy conditions. Their reinforced sidewalls keep the tire shoulders on the road, while microgrooves help provide biting edges that lock together, enabling better grip when turning on wet roads.

  • Do Driving Habits Affect Tire Life?

    Yes.

Tips That Help Increase Tire Life:
    • Do not speed. High speeds will generate excessive heat, which increases the rate of tire wear.
    • Avoid fast turns on curves and corners.
    • Avoid quick starts and panic stops.
    • Do not ride on the edge of the pavement or drive over curbs, potholes, or other obstructions.

  • What Is Wheel Alignment?

Tires will undergo frequency and speed adjustments at different intervals to keep the tire and vehicle rotation running straight and the load bearing direction perpendicular to the ground. Vehicle manufacturers designed different angles to handle a variety of road conditions and enhance vehicle performance. Overtime, these angles will suffer wear which leads to deformation while replacing suspension parts will cause a deviation from the set values, resulting in poor vehicle and tire performance. Therefore, proper wheel alignment can help correct and prevent these problems.

  • How to take care of your tire?

Check your air pressure – smooth, even driving starts with your tires.
NOTE: Tires should be inflated when cool to the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations printed on the vehicle door placard or in your vehicle owner's manual, NOT the maximum limit stamped on a tire sidewall.
Replacing a clogged air filter can improve gas mileage by as much as 10%, saving about 15 cents per gallon.
Worn or dirty spark plugs can cause misfiring, which wastes fuel - replacing these per your vehicle owner's manual can lead to a better performing vehicle.
Vehicle gas caps that are damaged, loose, or missing altogether waste gas. According to the Car Care Council, about 17% of vehicles on the road have gas cap problems, causing 147 million gallons of gas to vaporize every year.
